SeegPharm is a Swiss Company founded in 2012 and based in Lugano, Switzerland.

The core business of SeegPharm is the co-development and out-licensing of complex generics.

SeegPharm’s Management team is comprised of veterans in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive product development experience with long track record, conducting development, clinicals studies, as well as manufacturing of the finished dosage form in the USA and API in Europe.

Key facts

SeegPharm is based on a novel business model of profit sharing for co-developing already approved drugs with expired or expiring patents, involving selected exclusive partners in the USA to be followed by globalisation of the product after FDA approval.

SeegPharm outsources all development work, API route of synthesis development, finished dosage form development, patent landscape for freedom to operate, regulatory registration, legal contracts as well as independent financial and accounting firms to assure full transparency to the investing partners.

SeegPharm also maintains a capability for the development of new routes of synthesis of selected APIs and finished dosage forms to be patented.

SeegPharm works with selected experienced advisors and consultants in Europe and the USA, and assembles the product development team on a product-by-product basis dependent on the product requirements.

SeegPharm outside legal counsels are based Basel-Switzerland, Milan-Italy, Barcelona-Spain as well as Chicago-USA.

SeegPharm is also involved in direct promotion and distribution activities on selected patented products, directly or indirectly, in collaboration with selected patent holder partners.
